These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Supercheap Movers website and to enquiries made through supercheapmovers.com.au. Specific moving services are also subject to the written quote, booking confirmation and any service-specific conditions provided to you. If there is an inconsistency, the written terms agreed for the booking will apply to that service.

Website information

The website provides general information about house moves, office relocations, packing and unpacking, storage, backloading, warehouse removals, local removals and interstate removals. Information is provided in good faith but may not cover every circumstance. Website content is not a binding quote or a guarantee that a service is available for a particular date, route, property or item.

Quotes and bookings

A quote is based on the information supplied by the customer. You must provide accurate details about collection and delivery addresses, access conditions, stairs or lifts, parking, dates, inventory, unusually heavy or fragile items and any other circumstance that may affect the work. A booking is confirmed only in accordance with the written confirmation supplied by Supercheap Movers.

Prices, deposits, payment timing, inclusions, exclusions and any additional charges must be determined from the applicable written quote or booking confirmation. Nothing on this page creates a charge that is not otherwise disclosed or agreed.

Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to request the service, that access is safe and reasonably available, and that items are appropriately prepared unless packing is included. You should identify fragile, valuable, hazardous, prohibited or unusually heavy items before the service. Customers should retain important documents, medicines, jewellery, money and irreplaceable personal items unless their transport has been specifically agreed in writing.

Changes, delays and cancellations

Please notify us as soon as possible if the date, addresses, inventory, access or service requirements change. Availability, rescheduling, cancellation and any associated charge will be handled according to the written quote or booking terms and applicable Australian law. Travel, traffic, weather, access restrictions and events outside reasonable control may affect estimated arrival or completion times.

Storage, packing and third-party services

Where packing, storage, transport or another service is provided by or involves a third party, the relevant provider’s disclosed terms may also apply. We will not represent a third-party service as our own. Ask for clarification before confirming a booking if a third party will be involved.

Damage, loss and complaints

Inspect items as soon as reasonably practical after the service and notify Supercheap Movers promptly if you believe loss or damage occurred. Provide relevant photographs, item details and booking information so the matter can be reviewed. The availability and scope of insurance or compensation must be confirmed from the applicable written booking documents; this website does not promise insurance coverage that has not been expressly confirmed.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation. Any limitation or exclusion applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Acceptable website use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with website operation, submit false information or use website content unlawfully.

Intellectual property and external links

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, graphics and original materials are owned by or licensed to Supercheap Movers. They may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not mean that we control or endorse their content.

Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law
